These rag rugs are made in India on a fair trade basis from a mix of recycled cotton with other recycled fibres. Discarded clothing is washed, dyed and woven into colourful rugs. These rag rug feature an assortment of bright colours, white top stitching and fringed edges.
70% recycled polyester / 30% recycled cotton
Care: Brush or vacuum to remove loose dirt and dust. Hand wash separately in cold water with non-biological detergent to remove stains. Do not soak. Do not tumble dry.
We believe this recycling is good for the environment but because the offcuts are already dyed in the mills, we cannot control the colour fastness of the materials and therefore, we recommend that you do not place this rug on top of light coloured surfaces due to the possibility of colour transfer, particularly if the rug is used heavily or it gets damp or wet. Do not place in sunlight if you wish to avoid more rapid fading of the materials.
